Mutant Discoveries

"Oh..er..ok.Hey! I have an idea,"Hailey was beaming as if she had just saved the planet from starvation instead of the four of them,"There's a Taco stand over on West Avenue, everyone up for tacos?" Hailey looked at all their bored faces, and thin stomachs, and realized they probably didn't care what they got as long as it was edible. Hailey stood up, extending a hand to help Cassandra. Cassandra poked Hailey,"Aren't there a lot of people on West Avenue, though?"
"Yeah, so?"
"Celiex is still in her animal form though."
Hailey turned around to face Celiex,"There are a lot of people on that particular street, so you might wanna change to your human form," When Hailey was in animal form, she could sense other's emotions easily, but in her human form it took a little longer, and they weren't as clear, but she could still manage to pick up a trickle of reluctance coming from Celiex's pelt. Or was it fear? Hailey couldn't really tell, but either one was bad.
"If you don't want to, we can get a taco for you,"Hailey offered.
Cassandra smiled sweetly,"And I can keep you company if you'd like, me feet are killing me."

Alice nodded too; Hailey's suggestion was a good one, to her. 'Sounds good. .' she started, before Cassandra interrupted her. She fell silent again, her face still with that faint happy look on it. She wondered where the other girl was going with her point about the number of people on the street. Then, she realized she was right! Why was Celiex still in her animal form ? Was there something she was hiding ? In her usual manner, she didn't ask her, or even look curiously at her. She just felt it wasn't her business. Anyway, being in animal form was a great experience, especially for her.

She snatched a quick look at Celiex and realized there was something more there, than just un - wantingness to turn back. The feeling was faint, but it was there; she was afraid! What it was, Alice had no idea and as the situation seemed to be resolving itself; Celiex would stay there, she bothered herself no more about it. 'Shall. . shall we go ?' she asked, with a little caution. She was raring to go, inside, but was happy to wait until the others were ready.

OOC: I dunno, be creative<3 Maybe Alesha is walking down West Avenue or maybe Jake knows the guys who owns the taco stand or maybe..well... Idk. Just use your imagination(: Hehehe, I'm sure you can do a lot with tacos

Hailey nodded to Alice,"Cassie, you stay here, me and Alice will get the tacos,"Hailey said offering a smile to Alice,"Cassie what do'ya want on your taco?"
"Lettuce, cheese, the extra hot sauce, jalapeños, olives, mustard-"
"Mustard?!"
"You heard me. And cheddar cheese please,"Cassandra said, and with a slight 'pop' she turned into her fox.
"Okie dokie,"Haile said,"Lets go get some tacos! Yay for tacos..." Hailey took Alice's hand in her and walked at a surprisingly brisk pace towards avenue. They had probably waled 30 feet when Hailey realized she'd forgotten to get Celiex's order

Alice nodded; the plan sounded good to her. Any decisions not made by her, suited her perfectly. She was a little lazy in that regard. 'Sure,' she said, out aloud, focusing herself back in on the conversation and situation at hand. At Hailey's smile, she too, forced her lips into a slight curve, although the movement was hard, for her. Such a simple motion, yet one she struggled with so intensely. She would have to practise; she made a mental note to herself, to do just that.

When Cassandra began to list her order, or more correctly, the ingrediants she wanted on her taco, Alice felt her nose begin to wrinkle, with displeasure. Olives ? Mustard ? Sauce ? She felt a little queasy, just at the thought! She tried to force her face into a look of indifference, but this was harder than she expected. She was just getting the right look on her face, when she was whisked away by Hailey. The other girl had grabbed hold of her hand, and Alice's face was currently in a startled, relatively uncomfortable expression. She forced herself to relax, reflecting on the fact that she seemed to be forcing herself to do a lot, these days. But it was worth it. If she had to lie, to not offend others, she was happy to do that! She turned to Hailey, as a sudden thought struck her; Celiex's order! She could tell the other girl had remembered too, so she made no comment, simply exchanged a glance, before whipping around, and heading back the way they had just come.

Alesha was walking down the street in her black panther form with Jake following her, she dashed around to face him and growled, "why do you always have to follow me".
Jake was startled by Alesha's sudden outburst but he stayed calm, "well you seem to know where the others are" he said.
Alesha rolled her eyes and ran off with Jake following her, she scented other people and she definnatly smelt food!. she ran on a bit more until she saw a group of kids standing around, "hey!" she shouted.
Jake stopped suddenly behind Alesha and he looked at the other kids, 'are they like us then? they must be' he thought. "errr hi" he said.

Celiex felt strange that Cassandra wanted to stay and keep her company. Trying to hide her uncertainty, her pelt began to bristle. "You know you didn't have to stay" she contemplated, although she knew she hated to be alone, because she had been for almost her entire life. Sighing, she brought all her energy to moving to the side to give Cassandra and her fox form room to sit beside her. Most of the time she was hostile, but began to feel close to Cassandra and her sister; Hailey. Alice made her question the things that came from her mouth since her voice was so strained to convince the others of what she said. Celiex knew she would keep an eye on her until she revealed herself more.

She soon perked up her furry was sharp ears toward the sound of footsteps. Her pelt was now hot, wondering if they were coming back to question why she had still been in her animal form. Her and Cassandra waited side by side for them to come closer, Celiex was trying to figure out what they wanted. It wasn't fear coming from her now, but annoyance and a hint of anger at herself for being worried.

Alesha padded closer the the other kids and she blinked at them, "who are you guys" she hissed when she stood in front of them. she stood her long black tail swaying gently and her eyes narrowing at the wild cat, 'im sure i've seen that around a couple of times' she thought.

Jake stood beside Alesha making her look puny compared to him but he looked at the other people, 'wow so there are more people like us' he thought.

Alice arrived first. Her bare feet padded gently on the pavement that she was currently running on. Her black hair was streaming out behind her, but then flopped back to hang limply around her face as she slowed to a halt, coming face to face with Cassandra and Celiex. 'Sorry. . Me and Hailey,' - she motioned to the other girl - 'realized we had forgotten to take your order for what you wanted!' She ran a hand through her hair, pushing it back off her face, so she felt less hidden. The movement was almost one that could be classified as involuntary; for she did it without thinking.

She then became aware that barely anyone else's attention was focused on her. Her eyes drifted backwards and soon focused upon two other strange kids. She could tell they were like her and the others; mutants. The girl was saying something; her voice was low and it sounded as if she was hissing. Like an angry snake. . Alice thought slowly. She fell silent, biting at her lip. This was more people than she had ever had to face in her life! Except, of course, when she had been made a mutant. . A whirl of memories flooded through her, making her tremble and sway a little. She looked up again, hoping Hailey would take hand of the situation or Celiex would give her order, so they could leave again.

Noticing the tension between the four of them, also including the other two strange kids, she cleared her throat, "THe normal taco is fine" Celiex said, sounding a bit ridiculous, but going through with the other thing she was about to say. "Cassandra and I will take care of these kids...Since we're here, you two just go ahead and get the food. Celiex guessed that that was what Alice had wanted and turned her head away. Her pelt was no longer bristling or felt hot, her piercing eyes hit Alesha's. "Who are you" she growled softly, trying her best to not sound as hostile as usual. She could already tell that they were mutants as well.

Alesha rolled her eyes and said, "well i am Alesha Moon and the big knucklehead beside me is Jake Sierra" she was slightly aggrivated but she tried not to show it. she hissed under her breath then said, "who are you, or do i have to ask a third time?".

Jake smiled at the others then turned to Alesha, "dont get mouthy with them we dont know them yet" he whispered. he turned back to the others and just looked around awkwerdly. (spelling)

Hailey's chest rumbled in a growl as she changed into her wolf form. She wasn't afraid of Alesha and Jake, but she'd rather know their emotions before she said anything. Alesha was irritated, annoyed, and even a bit angry. 'Inpatient git..."She thought. "Hold on, Celiex. I'm not leaving till I know my sister will be safe, ..Even though I'm sure you wouldn't let them hurt her but..oh you know what I mean,"Hailey said, sighing inwardly,"I'm Hailey, and this is my sister, Cassandra."

Cassandra's fluffy golden fur swayed slightly in the chilly. She felt both Alesha and Jake's words were good enough, but she didn't say anything as she remembered Hailey's reaction when she said something about Alice.

Celiex still starred at the two newcomers, refusing to give her name until the others had done so. She was already starting to get comfortable around the others, now she had some more which wasn't exactly her plan. Noticing how Jake Sierra let his guard down a lot with his smiles and friendly voice, she couldn't help but chuckled pathetically. These two were pretty fun, she realized. Celiex sensed Hailey's tension as she turned into her wolf form. One of her questions was that Alesha hadn't mentioned to them about them being mutants out loud just like them. Her claws cracked pieces of loose concrete under her miraculous white claws, and her tail was moving toward the dagger tied comfortably to her neck with the white ribbon. 'I should be careful around all of them...None of us truly trust eachother yet' she thought with caution, her eyes in focused slits.

Jake looked at the others and just said, "dont worry about her shes just not exactly good around new people, and especially .. well mutants, we havent really seen any others until now" he explained. he also felt very awkwerd around them but he was sure he'd be fine, "and Alesha i am not a knucklehead" he joked.

Alesha just stood and looked at the others as she started to get used to being around them, "erm Jake should we show them what we look like or should we just stay like this?" she asked. Jake whispered back" in a bit, not now".

Hailey still wasn't sure about the newcomers. She was starting to trust Celiex and Alice, but Alesha and Jake just seemed...different. For one, Jake had creepy glowing red eyes that seemed to stare right into the pit of Hailey's soul. For two, Jake was huge. He towered over Hailey and Alesha, and that right there was pretty significant. And Alesha just seemed..off somehow. Like she didn't really like them, or want to talk to them, but she had come over anyway.
Plus, it was weird that Cassandra and Hailey had found Celiex. It was beyond starnge Alice had come along too. But two more mutants? Nah...couldn't be...

Cassandra swished her tail along the ground, and her stomach growled. She coughed, embarrassed, and then stuttered,"H-hailey, Alice, can you get the tacos, please?"
