Flarestar jumped off of the rock and walked around camp just saying hi to all the other cats in her small clan. she thought about how well the cats were doing and she was glad to have her deputy and her two medicine cats to help her along her journey of leadership.

{ OOC: Oh, okay. Sorry xDD }
Serpent - tounge continued on his way, explaining all the herbs to his apprentice. He happened to glance up at the sky. The clouds were gray, low, threatening. His instantaneous reaction was to simply get out of there. But another thought pulled him back. He had to return to collect the herbs. They had taken a considerable effort to find and collect. He didn't fancy returning without them, leaving them to rot and die. . slowly, among the other mass vegetation that was present on most of his clans' territory.
Motioning to Rockpaw, he dashed back the way they had just come. All the while, cursing himself for not carrying them with him. Although he had to admit -- and remember -- that he had thought it clever at the time. The first fat rain - drops began to fall. They fell firmly onto his back, running down his fur, making it slowly come together and form clumps. His teeth bared; the sensation was rather unpleasant.
The herbs were easy to find; for which he was grateful. He grabbed a huge mouthful and waited for his apprentice to do the same. Then, with a swish of his brown tail, he vanished. He made his way through the thick undergrowth, feeling each plant, as it brushed over his fur, leaving it wet and almost sticky. . As they approached the clan, he was lucky enough to see Flarestar, straight away. 'Flarestar; storm's. . coming,' he panted, before turning away and pushing his herbs into the store den.

Flarestar nodded to him and she jumped up to high rock, "Everybody be prepared a storm is coming, queens keep your kits inside, make sure you are all safe and make sure you dont run off for i will know" she yowled loud enough for the clan to hear. "Serpent-tounge do you have everything you need as herbs will be wet and droopy after the storm?" she asked.

{ OOC: Short reply, sorry. I'm meant to be doing other stuff, atm. x33 }
'Hmm ?' Serpent - tounge was distracted by the thought of putting his herbs away safely, so as a result, he missed his leaders next question. His mind raced, what could it have been about ? Then, he realized that that previous statement of hers, hadn't been directed at him. His tail drooped with relief, his pelt flattened. In response, he stepped back a pace. Was she suggesting he didn't think about his clan ? His ears flattened; a small motion, yet one that suggested disbelief. Calming himself, he answered her question with a flat tone of voice, keeping himself cool. He was just being paranoid. She was just doing her job; caring for her clan. It was natural for her to ask such things. At least, that was what he told himself, to prevent an angry result. 'Of course, I have! Rockpaw and I went earlier. .' He stopped himself, seeing she was not too interested in when or where they had. 'Just a minute, I must put these away.' He dipped his head, then turned around, his eyes focused on the now limp bundle of herbs that sat a little way near the medicine cat den. His tail was upright, and he walked with a stiff posture. He was still a little miffed.

"well we must all get inside, ok now is everyone in their dens, we may not be able to come out for a small amount of time" she yowled. she looked around to see if there was any straying cats and because she didnt see any she dashed into her den, 'i hope this doesnt last too long'.

Serpent - tounge himself, hurried deep inside his den. After checking that his apprentice was near, he started sorting the herbs. His tail flicked with content. If he asked himself honestly, there was nothing he would rather be doing. Herbs were part of his life now. A big part and one that he would never give up. He heard the muffled yowling's of his leader outside, but ignored them. He was inside; that was all that mattered. Perhaps it was this thought, this. . rather selfish thought that caused the next set of events to happen.
As the tabby cat finished with the second last bunch of his herbs, he turned to the chevril. It lay there, innocently, as one might expect a herb to do. As he reached his paw towards it, his aim being to separate the strands, it stuck fast. The chevril was wet. Wet through. A rush of thoughts flooded his mind. Why would only that herb be wet ? And how ? The rain couldn't have got to it in time. The herb had been placed in the den the same time as the others, and they had all been fine. His neck fur stood up. He batted his large paw onto it again, and again it stuck to his fur. He leant down, biting at it, but only succeeded in getting leaves on his fur, around his whiskers.
His head snapped up, his jaws opening in a fierce, annoyed yowl. He knew what had caused this; StarClan was telling him to care more for his clanmates; he should have made sure each and every one of them was safe, warm. Not coughing already for the brief downpour of water that had cascaded over most of their territory. Leaving his apprentice standing bewildered, he dashed out of the den. He looked around, no cat could be seen. Flarestar was the only one, on high rock, she stood, tall and proud. Nodding to her, he moved off to the warrior's den, firstly.
{ OOC: Sorry, this turned out a little wierd. . 83 }

Wolfsnare treaded on, hoping to find some catmint even though new-leaf was near. There could be some last minute white coughs soon, and he didn't want to take any chances. "Maybe if we go to the SoakGrounds, we can find some of the richer herbs" he grunted, informing the medicine cat. Wolfsnare glanced at Rockpaw, wondering how he became intersted in herbs and remedies. Stretching his forepaws, Wolfsnare caught the familiar scent of catmint and rare but recognizable juniper berries in the air. His dark, muscular tabby shape felt small at the SoakGrounds, where the grasses grew tall and thin and underneath was the damp, musty water which swallowed his paws in it's comfortable feeling. 'There's no way WhiteClan would enjoy this, not even WIldClan!" he purred, knowing how great it was for his clan to have features of their own.

FlareStar stood on highrock waiting an checking to make sure all of her warriors were back at camp before she went inside herself. She waited for WolfSnare and Rockpaw as it seemed that they were the only ones out of camp. She ran out of camp and sniffed around the forest and the tree's hoping to pick up atleast some of their scents. She pricked up her head and she had a little bit of their scents and it was coming from SoakGrounds. she dashed off that way and tried to find them, on her way she saw a small lake that was full and looked overflowing with water.

"Greetings, Flarestar," Wolfsnare came up behind his leader, and had drawn away from the group when he was trying to find some catmint. "Are you possibly here to find us? Serpent-tounge needed herbs and seeing as Rockpaw is a beginner, and the last frosts of leaf-bare are almost here, they needed an extra set of paws," He explained, not understanding that neither Rockpaw or Serpent-tounge had explained this to Flarestar, but he felt just as guilty of not making sure his leader knew. "We still haven't found much, so you can return to camp, Flarestar, if you'd like, I'll make sure they come back safely" The deputy meowed in his deep voice, stiff paws standing tall and strong in the soaking ground.
